Masa and Olive Face Paste (face wash)


First of all, I know this won’t be the highest priority on everyone’s list but this stuff smells gorgeous. You only need a small amount each time, so a whole jar lasts a LONG time. I love this face wash because I can actually use it on my incredibly sensitive skin, which really means something as I’ve been through a lot of face washes in my time trying to find something that won’t irritate or dry my skin. I actually went through a period of just using water because I got so fed up of the permanently sun burnt look. This face wash is exfoliating and moisturising at the same time, so your face feels clean but not rubbed raw. In fact for more oily skin types you may find you don’t even need to use a moisturiser after this.

So how does it work? What’s really inside this little jar? Just 3 100% natural, 100% organic ingredients: corn flour, olive oil, lavender essential oil. That’s it! The corn flour acts as a gentle polisher and stimulator (the exfoliating bit). The olive oil dilutes the pre-existing oils on your skin which allows the pore clogging dirt and bacteria to surface and be cleaned away. When you rinse your skin, the olive oil won’t strip your skin of moisture. So just take about half a teaspoon in your finger tips, and spread and massage into your face and let the magic begin.


Use by date: because this little jar contains no preservatives or harsh chemicals it does have a shorter shelf life, around 3 months to be exact. Unless you keep it in the fridge, in which case you can double that.
